The St. Marys Area Chamber of Commerce is a partnership of business and professional people working together to build a healthy local economy and improve the quality of life in the St. Marys area. The St. Marys Area Chamber of Commerce exists to promote agriculture, business, and commerce throughout the St. Marys area by sponsoring and leading programs or efforts aimed at expanding and strengthening the area's economic base, increasing job opportunities, and providing a medium through which both the agricultural and commercial communities can unite to optimize the area business climate. Membership in the St. Marys Area Chamber of Commerce is open to all individuals, businesses, and organizations in the city of St. Marys and surrounding communities. Active members are all individuals and firms who would like to be a part of the St. Marys Area Chamber of Commerce and invest in our organization via membership. Associate Memberships may be granted to any civic-minded individual or not for profit organization who desires membership in the St. Marys Area Chamber of Commerce and invests in our organization as an associate member. Chamber Activities As a member, you will be represented in our Chamber publications, such as our Buyers guide, our Community Profile Book, our Industrial Guide if it pertains to your business, and any other publications we print. You will also have an opportunity to have an advertisement on the St. Marys map and the Community Guide which we publish approximately every 4-5 years. Our Chambergram newsletter is published monthly and mailed or e-mailed to more than 300 business leaders and elected officials. You are invited to help sponsor our SummerFest community festival and be a part of various monthly meetings. We offer value-added benefits in the insurance and workers’ compensation areas, as well as cooperative advertising programs with the local radio stations and newspaper. Web presence and other value-added benefits are also included in membership. *NEW* With the renovation of the Chamber office, our members now have the use of a state of the art meeting room. The room includes a 4 piece kitchenette, a 46" flat screen tv with all the proper connections for power point presentations, a DVD/VCR and after hours availability for your evening meetings. Member networking events such as Business After Hours, site tours, golf outing and breakfast and luncheon speakers are also offered.
