The St. Marys Chamber of Commerce, Inc. exists to promote agriculture, business, and commerce throughout the St. Marys area by sponsoring and leading programs or efforts aimed at expanding and strengthening the area's economic base, increasing job opportunities, and providing a medium through which both the agricultural and commercial communities can unite to optimize the area business climate.

The St Marys Chamber of Commerce was formally founded in 1952 and celebrated its 70th year in existence in 2022! The articles of incorporation were accepted on March 1, 1952 for a fee of $25.00. However, the chamber was actually started in 1922, but then ceased to exist during WW ll. The Chamber was then reorganized after the war and formally incorporated in 1952.
